Sepolto Vivo (Buried Alive) was a collective performance which was showcased in Syracuse, Italy, by Discarica Culturale. The intention of this demonstration was to exorcise the massive daily intrusion of advertising carried out by the large supermarket chains. So, over a period of two years, thousands of these leaflets were collected from an apartment block and stored. These were then used to cover the entire courtyard of the baroque Palazzo Impellizzeri.
